Founded in 2023, Lavender Spectrum Health is a forward-thinking, inclusive private practice specializing in LGBTQ+ health, sexual and reproductive health, and neurodivergence. As a dynamic startup, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, culturally sensitive care to our community. Our goal is to expand into multiple locations offering integrated primary care, mental health services, and electrolysis.
We serve a diverse array of payers including commercial insurance (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Lifewise, Molina, United Healthcare, Moda, Regence, Premera, First Choice Health, Kaiser PPO, PacificSource), medicare, and medicaid (Molina, Community Health Plan of Washington, United, Coordinated Care, and Amerigroup)
The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled registered nurse to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working in a startup environment and adaptable to a changing landscape. The ideal candidate will also have didactic and/or experiential training in treating LGBTQ+ individuals and individuals who are neurodivergent, especially Autistic individuals and individuals with ADHD. The nurse will be able to provide a safe and inclusive therapeutic space for transgender and non-binary individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide case management and care coordination support to primary care and mental health patients
Provide local anesthesia injections under supervision of nurse practitioners
Provide IV infusion therapy for chronic illnesses including migraine, POTS, long COVID, etc
Provide injections of hormones, PrEP, long acting contraception
Submit prior authorizations for prescription medications, imaging, procedures, and other services
Collaborate with primary care clinician(s)
Qualifications
WA Registered Nurse License
Experience in or willingness to learn about issues affecting the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
