Application Process
Because this role involves unique clinical responsibilities and close work with vulnerable communities, we ask all applicants to complete a brief set of screening questions before moving forward with interviews. Your responses will help us get a better sense of your interest in the role and alignment with our mission.
1. This position has hours that are not flexible because they must align with the electrolysis hours which are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 10 AM-7PM in person in Vancouver WA. Can you confirm the schedule and location (in person) would work for you?
2.This role centers on providing trauma-informed, gender-affirming care to transgender women preparing for vaginoplasty—specifically by administering local anesthesia for electrolysis in the genital area. This is intimate and often painful work, and many patients experience significant dysphoria and have a history of medical trauma. Yet it’s also profoundly meaningful: you’ll be helping people take one of the final steps toward living in a body that feels like home. What draws you to this kind of work, and how do you imagine showing up for patients in these deeply vulnerable moments?
To apply, please send your resume, cover letter explaining your interest in the role and your experience with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, and questions above to Natalie@LavenderSpectrumHealth.com.
